I'm thrilled to organise Lady Magpie & Me right here in the South West of Scotland. So if you love nothing better than shopping for a curated mix of handmade, vintage, food and crafts then Lady Magpie & Me is just for you!
Having had to travel to exhibit at events and fairs to sell my own wares, I felt that it was about time there was a fair that I myself would want to both visit and exhibit at in the South West of Scotland. Having visited some craft fairs locally I always come away feeling slightly disappointed. Our events aim to have a contemporary feel but with a vintage twist. With a love of all things vintage it seemed only natural to organise Lady Magpie & Me. I am determined that this is a successful event and our hope is that it becomes a yearly event both during the Spring, Summer and at Christmas time.
Take a peek at some of our photographs over on flickr.
If you've missed it, then shame on you, but have a good old nosey through our photographs and hopefully we'll be able to tempt you along to the next Lady Magpie & Me.
So if you'd like to apply for a stand then here's what to do. We don't just allocate spaces at Lady Magpie & Me but ask potential stallholders to fill out our online application, which is over on the blog. Our application process allows each event to be curated, with a mixture of disciplines and a variety of stalls. Plus we maintain a high level of quality that our visitors have grown to expect when they come along to each fair. We've developed quite a loyal following over the last year and we really are thankful for the support we have had, especially when we were voted Best Arts & Craft Market in a national online poll.
So if you want to know about when the next Lady Magpie & Me will be and when we're open for applications, keep your peepers peeled on our facebook page
