Its a place to learn, make, relax and enjoy creative adventures. You’ll learn heaps of new skills, meet like minded people and find out how fun and rewarding it can be to make your own. Workshops are taught by me, where I pass on my passion & expertise to others at friendly classes and courses. 

I now teach my workshops at THE GUILD in their inspiring & creative studio/workshop space at Solway House, situated within the stunning grounds of the Crichton in Dumfries, South West Scotland. It's just over an hour away from Glasgow and just a hop & a skip over the border, with Carlisle around 45 minutes away.  I've been teaching my popular classes in Dumfries to happy sewists for over 9 years now with 5 star reviews.

If you'd prefer to have my undivided attention and like to work on a specific project then why not book a private class. A 1:1 Tuition session can be scheduled to suit us both, during the day, during the evening or weekend. They can also be tailored to your individual needs using my or your own sewing machine.

I can also  happily arrange Crafty Hen Parties, Private Parties or just a well needed Creative Catch Up with friends. I am also able to offer tutuion elsewhere and can travel to your venue as a guest tutor. Once or twice a year I also teach workhops at HOPE & ELVIS.

As well as teaching regular workshops I am always happy to discuss ideas with companies, organisations and events organisers. Whether thats for a tailored full scale workshop, a taster session or a live demonstration. I have previously taught workshops at the Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair in both Glasgow & Harrogate teaching daily classes to 200 visitors during the shows. I'm a regular invited expert teaching masterclasses and demonstations at the Knit  & Stitch Show at Rheged each year. I've also delivered workshops for our local college at their very first staff Health & Wellbeing day and collaborated with the Carers Trust to hold sessions for their organisation. Just get in touch if you'd love to collaborate and to discuss the finer details. 

Many of the workshops in Dumfries just involve you turning up! I provide equipment, materials, fabrics from my stash and tools of the trade.
