By making a booking, you agree that:

You have read these Terms & Conditions and agree to them.

We have written the Booking Terms and Conditions to describe clearly booking policies, procedures and to clarify the contractual relationship between you and Create Escapes.‚Äč

A deposit of £250 per person is due at the time of booking along with a completed Booking Form. We will send you email confirmation after booking. The balance of the workshop is payable 6 weeks before your stay. Upon full payment and a few weeks before your arrival you will receive a welcome pack with more details of your weekend at the Sewing Retreat.

 

PRICES & PAYMENT


Prices are fully inclusive. The prices are fixed in sterling and payment in that currency may be made by direct bank transfer.

The price includes all materials and tuition, all meals for the weekend, goody bag and 2 nights accommodation at Craigbittern House & Cottage.

Prices also include all utilities (gas, electricity, and first bag of wood) used as well as the supply of bed linen and towels for the main beds. Please note beach towels are not included.

 

CONFIRMATION & RESERVATIONS


Upon receipt of the deposit, we will send you email confirmation. This is our formal acceptance of booking. Please check the details and inform us of any inaccuracies. We recommend that you have health and holiday insurance at time of booking, which should include loss of deposit through cancellation.

 

CANCELLATIONS


If you wish to cancel a booking, you should advise us by telephone and confirm the cancellation in writing, which should be by the same person who signed the booking form. Cancellation will take effect on receipt of this written confirmation. In all cases of cancellation the deposit will be forfeit. If the cancellation is made after the final payment is due, you are liable for the full cost of your retreat. As a courtesy, we will place your cancelled booking back up on our website. We will also put the word out on social media and to our mailing list. If the place is then filled, we will refund the cost of the retreat, less costs incurred.

Of course, if you’re unable to attend, we are happy for you to send a friend in your place, just let us know their name and email address in advance of the retreat. 

In the unlikely event we have to cancel or postpone a Create Escapes Retreat due to unavoidable circumstances or if we are unable to meet the minimum number of participants needed to run the retreat, we will endeavour to give our guests as much notice as possible. We will happily refund the full booking fee or transfer your booking to another Create Escapes Retreat of the same price, space permitting. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any other costs, expenses or disappointment. 

 

GENERAL


The accommodation is furnished and equipped for holiday use and it will not accommodate more than the stated number of beds. It is appreciated if participants on the retreat take good care of the property and leave it in good order, as found. This is the main condition of acceptance of any booking.

We have a no smoking policy for all of our properties and guests are expected to respect this provision of booking.

Although we take every reasonable care to ensure that nothing untoward occurs during your stay we cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity arising, howsoever caused.

 

COMPLAINTS


Any complaints must be directed to Ruth at info@gallowayescapes.co.uk as soon as possible, if within your stay we will do our utmost to help. Please note there is little we can do if the complaint is only logged after your stay. We do our utmost to ensure your accomodation is well equipped, clean and comfortable but we appreciate any feedback you may have.
