Come along to the studio in Dumfries and learn to make your very own pair of pj’s, perfect for late night lounging and lazy Sunday mornings! By the end of the workshop you'll take home a stylish pair of Pyjama’s and leave with a whole host of dressmaking basics under your belt.
Our ‘Pyjama Party’ workshop is a great introduction to making a simple garment before moving onto making your own clothes with a commercial pattern. This workshop will build on existing beginner skills and help you master dressmaking basics. We will provide a pattern for you which you get to take home with you. You'll need to bring along some fabric of your choice. You'll learn basic pattern adjustments so you can decide what leg length you require.

Materials Required: Bring your own choice of fabric. We'll send you details of required amounts when you place your booking.
Material included: A Pyjama pattern to take home with you, available in 3 sizes (S 36-38inch hip, M 39-41 inch hip, L 42-44inch hip), Elastic, Thread, Ribbon. Basic tools of the trade are also provided including our Brother Sewing machines.
Classes are small, maximum class number is 6 guests, to ensure you get the personal tuition you need to help with your project and get the best out of each workshop we host.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a beginner's sewing workshop. If you already know your way around the sewing machine, feel comfortable using it, threading, loading the bobbin, back stitching and you're able to sew a straight seam, then this class is for you.
Tea & refreshments are also provided throughout the day, feel free to bring a packed lunch too!
